Energy Master Windows Warranty

Energy Master Windows guarantees a top quality product and supports our Dealers with a commitment to post-sales service. Please read and keep a copy of our written warranty.

  1. Energy Master Windows are warranted against defective material and workmanship, occurring as a direct result of the manufacturing process.

    Energy Master Windows is responsible for replacing; free of charge, any defective material. It is important that all product be thoroughly inspected and checked for quality and conformance to that ordered prior to acceptance from Energy Master Windows and installation in the customer's home. The cost of correcting a problem before installation is minimal compared to the cost once the product has been installed. Warranty is as follows:
    • 25-year non-prorated transferable warranty on all PVC components;
    • 25-year non-prorated transferable warranty on insulating glass units in Hi-Tech PVC frame;
    • Transferable manufacturers' warranty on hardware;
    • Labor is free of charge for the first 12 month period;
    • Warranty is effective once the unit has been installed in its original location
       
  2. The Dealer is responsible for the proper installation in the customer's home. This installation includes the application of perimeter insulation and caulking to ensure a weather-tight and water-tight installation, according to the National Code. Should minor adjustments in operation of the product be required, it is the Dealer's responsibility to make these on-site adjustments.
     
  3. The Dealer is responsible for fully checking out any complaint reported to him. Should the inspection reveal that minor adjustment to the product is required, or that the installation is at fault, the Dealer is responsible for making the necessary correction. Where the problem is one of faulty workmanship or material, that is not apparent at the time of acceptance of the product, it is Energy Master Windows' responsibility to take the necessary corrective action.
     
  4. Service work will only be carried out upon receipt of a Energy Master Windows service request form completed by the Dealer with all required information. In order to minimize the cost of service calls, and to eliminate those service requests that are not the responsibility of Energy Master Windows.
     
  5. The Dealer is subject to a service fee should the problem be installation or product adjustment and is not deemed the responsibility of Energy Master Windows.
     
  6. Service work will not be carried out where an account is not adhering to our payment terms.
